How do I take advantage of the hearing aid discount program?

Follow the for easy steps outlined in the Use the Program section to participate in the hearing aid discount program or contact HearUSA at
1-800-442-8231 to identify a provider near you.

What type of hearing care providers are on the HearUSA network?

Through HearUSA, you will have access to fully credentialed hearing care providers, including licensed audiologists and Board Certified hearing aid dispensers. Audiologists have a masters or doctoral degree in audiology and provide a variety of diagnostic and rehabilitative hearing care services, including the fitting of hearing aids. Each provider meets our high network standards and agrees to participate in our programs.

Does my discount apply to all types of hearing aids?

Your discount applies to all hearing aids available through the program, including a range of styles and technologies. . The hearing aids that are best for you depend on your particular hearing loss, your lifestyle and your budget. The size, style, and circuitry will be determined by you and the provider. (Note: Cochlear Implants are outside the scope of this plan.)

Can I go to any HearUSA provider in the U.S.?

Contact HearUSA to arrange a convenient appointment with a participating network provider. Our customer service representatives will assist you in locating a nearby provider, and make sure that you and your provider have the information you need.

Is this plan just like traditional insurance?

This is not an insurance plan. It is a discount program, brought to you by the plan sponsor and HearUSA. There are no claim forms to complete. HearUSA will schedule your appointment and send you information about your discounts.

Can I use the discount program with my current insurance benefit?

This program cannot be used in conjunction with HMO, managed care or other insurance programs that cover hearing testing and hearing aids.

How much will I save?

The amount of savings will vary because hearing aids differ in price according to selected type, electronic features, etc. Generally, hearing aid prices will increase with more complex, sophisticated circuitry and smaller size. You can purchase with confidence and save hundreds of dollars on your new hearing aids. For specific plan information, contact HearUSA.

What if the audiologist I want to see is not on the HearUSA network?

1-800-442-8231. We'll be happy to contact the provider to see if they would like to participate. They would need to apply and go through our credentialing process prior to being listed in our current provider directory. (Provider directory search results subject to change without notice.)
